All you need to know about ClubUp Golfer.
There are three ways to provide your caddie preferences to ClubUp:
The circle at the top right of your app will take you to your profile page.
When making your tee time, you have an option to chose your mode of transportation (WLK, RD, CAD, FOR). If you select CAD (walking caddie) or FOR (forecaddie) a request will be sent to your caddie preferences automatically by ClubUp. If you have not setup any preferences, a request will be sent out to all caddies in the San Gabriel portal. The caddie who accepts the request first will be your caddie. Important note: During caddie required times, a caddie request will be sent out automatically even if a caddie is not selected as a mode of transportation. During caddie required times ClubUp will look to see if you have indicated your walking or riding preference so that the right type of caddie is requested, e.g. walking caddie or forecaddie.
ClubUp has a bench request process that the golf shop will use for tournaments and outings. Caddies will will invited via the bench request and will be paired with golfers by the golf shop personnel.
First, we strongly encourage that you visit your profile to add your caddie preferences. If you do not have any caddie preferences selected, your request will automatically be shared to the entire caddie pool to be claimed when you make a tee time.
There is not a limit on how many caddies you can have in your categories. Our suggestion is that you put your most preffered caddie as a Paramount, and populate the Favorite Caddie category with other caddies that you enjoy working with.
Yes. In your profile you can add ‘Notes for Caddies’, which will be sent to the caddie prior to the round.
ClubUp integrates with the club tee sheet twice an hour for days in the future. If you just made your tee time, please allow time (approximately 30 minutes) for the round to get into the ClubUp app. If you have push notifications turned on, you will receive a notification when the round is in your ClubUp app.
